Widen the frame

A small sample shows a local surface. It does not show how veins move across a slab, how adjacent slabs relate or how much the background tone changes across a lot.

Ask for a full-slab photograph, a sequence view and a representative range board. Keep lighting and camera settings consistent. Include slab IDs and a scale reference.

Approve the range

Agree which features are part of the material’s character and which would trigger rejection. Record this with annotated images and a physical control sample where possible.

Review the stone beside the project’s actual finishes. A decision made from a screen should be followed by suitable physical review before a major order.
